Based in Brooklyn and Queens, New York, Wyckoff Heights Medical Center has been providing quality care with kindness and respect since 1889. For more than 125 years, Wyckoff has remained dedicated to serving its community, offering more than three dozen specialties, providing meals through their WIC food program and educating the public with their Division of Community and Population Health program.

Improving performance, one step at a time

Through Altera’s proactive monitoring, we helped the team at Wyckoff resolve their latency issues and reduce lag, so they could work more efficiently. “Altera has been able to come forth when we had a challenge and was able to help us improve the environment, improve the latency and overall improve our efficiency,” said Jebashini Jesurasa. Over the course of a year, Altera helped reduce users login time by nearly 30%.

When new issues arise, Altera’s monitoring often catches them before they become problems. A good example of how we helped is by enabling easier, more efficient printing. “We’ve had printing issues throughout the years and that has improved significantly. There are proactive monitoring tools that went into effect and issues are fixed before my users realize there’s even a problem,” said Jesurasa. Health IT stability was greatly improved across the organization.
